Branding
DELIVERABLES: Logo, Color, Patterns, Brand Identity, Touchpoints
PROGRAM: Illustrator, Photoshop
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This is a logo and branding project for an all-natural, organic baby boutique based in Australia. The challenge was to create an identity utilizing an animal and associate it to the concept of the brand.
project concept
Bundle of Joey is a conscious-minded boutique brand that cares about impact textiles have on the environment and values giving back to their local community. They are passionate about supporting remote Aboriginal Australians and give 10% of their profits back to these indigenous communities. You see the implementation of native symbols used throughout the patterns created.
LOgo
The illustration is of a mother kangaroo with a joey in her pouch and the brand name is a play on the words “bundle of joy” which refers to a newborn baby.
PRIMARY
SECONDARY
The colors chosen are muted tones of pink, yellow, blue and brown that soften the palette. The vibe is bohemian and these colors have a more neutral and restrained appearance, creating a sense of sophistication and tranquility.
COLOR
PATTERNS
This pattern is representative of the ancient aboriginal symbol of women teaching children about gathering of food, hunting, and family unity.
This pattern represents topographic mapping. It is a cartographic representation of Aboriginal native lands in Australia. Topographic maps show the land's contours, allowing us to determine features of the landscape.
SPLASH IMAGE
Our splash page gives new shoppers a positive first impression of our brand. You would see this image placed in a magazine promoting the brand.
SIGNAGE
This is the signage seen outside the BOJ storefront in the Bondi Plaza.
CLOTHING TAG
A square tag that matches the storefront signage is made from natural, recyclable materials featuring the brand the brand logo and the 100% cotton materials it’s made from.
PACKAGING
All packaging is made from sustainable materials with the tissue paper showcasing some of the brand patterns.
